Blessed and Thankful

Macie had her first Thanksgiving Feast at preschool. It was so cute. They all had to choose their own Native American Name. Macie was Green Star because she was born the day before St. Patricks Day and her favorite shape is a star.

Could these girls be budding designers?  They made their outfits out of pillowcases.  These are Macie's very best friends, Anna Kate and Addie.

And a lost tooth the same week Finley turned 1.  Too many big milestones in one week for me.  Be easy on mama - she wants to keep her innocent little babies :)

Eric took almost 4 straight days off for Thanksgiving.  It was a decision made on a whim, and when he was home, he and Macie (amigos!) tore up the house, but it's all more than OK in my book.  I cherish his time home.... even if it makes it that much harder to let him go back to work.

Thanksgiving Prep.  I haven't seen Eric so happy since last Thanksgiving :)

Finley has loved Daddy days too!

It was fun to skype on Thanksgiving.  Damien had everyone cracking up...he has some sort of program that turned himself into a talking cat.  Anyone know how to do that on a mac?

Angie came over too.  She was so excited, she brought games and tons of food and I'll tell you, the best company is a friend like Angie.  She whisks away babies and changes diapers, helps Macie pick out pretty outfits, organizes and cleans.  And she is really funny too.  We love Angie.

Finley was digging the green bean casserole, and everything else too.  Unlike her sister Macie who only ate Cornbread souffle' and bread.

And Eric's boys showed up later that night... they were forced into playing scatagories, but also watched the rest of the football games with Eric.
