Hanging on to July

Because come August 1 (11 days, but who's counting?), Summer as we know it is OVER.  (I may or may not be actually crying right now).  It doesn't help that Macie's school is on the Year Round program - meaning, we get a little jipped out of summer so we can enjoy more breaks during the fall, winter and spring.  I can't complain!

Wow, it has been one for the books though!.  Including many lost teeth.
Fun in the yard,
Play dates a-plenty.

Quality Sunbathing. Great tans for everyone!
An earned Certificate of Awesomeness from Kung Fu Panda himself!
Really good locally grown food.  Gotta love food that grows in Tennessee!
Our garden that gave us Romaine, broccoli, carrots, basil, tomatoes, and more.
Toddlers looking cute (and knowing that next year she'll be looking so much older!)
Fantastic trips to the zoo.
Lots and LOTS of swimming... and swimming lessons in-between.
Farmers market with food aplenty.
Adult time at the lake.

And much more.  It has been a VERY GOOD summer.  Maybe we packed it in because we knew it would be ending early.  But come August 1, life is going to feel very different in the Martino home.  Macie starts SCHOOL.  There's no turning back!  And not only that, but another Martino is about to embark on something BIG.  After 18 years with Carrabba's, Eric will be embarking on a new endeavor himself.  More on that to come.  But for now, I am going to soak up these last 11 days of July 2012.  It's been a good one!
