We just got word that our neighborhood is going to start judging for YARD OF THE MONTH in the next couple weeks. Winner gets a sign to boast to put in their yard and also a $25 GC to Home Depot.
8 bags of mulch, and plenty more than $25 worth of landscaping items in the cart. An extra 30 minutes mowing in 90 degree heat to get a nice checkered look on our lawn, then a slow walk around the neighborhood checking out the other lawns nearby...
We're not competitive. Not in the least bit!
