Every day is a new when I see it through your eyes.
I love that any old thing can be a surprise.
You have your lows, you have your highs,
You have your daddy’s smile that fit your mommy’s eyes.
You always take my breath away with the new words you say.
You know your colors and shapes,
And you’re so cute when you eat your apples and grapes.
My heart melts whenever I see you smile.
What did I do to have such a sweet child.
You push me to the limits to better my meaning,
I’d do anything for you – my purpose is your well being.
